I woke up this morning, after taking a certain medication, and realized how much pain I have been in over the last six months or so. Like a frog in a cool pot of water, with the temperature gradually rising, I thought it was due to old age. I am 63, after all.
Nope.
Damn it! I wish I’d paid more attention the last time this happened. The chickenpox virus can cause you quite a bit of pain as you get older. Fortunately, there’s an old medication that works on nerves (Gabapentin), and today, I feel significantly better. I am amazed at how my mind attributed this slow oncoming of pain to everything but what it actually was.
Diary it, as I wish to be reminded at least twice a year.
Gods Eye will be back from the editor soon. After that, it is accepting the changes, formatting work, and image checking/positioning, etc. So I am on schedule for the release of Gods Eye, and then, less than a month later, Being.
During the in between times, or in parlance of another upcoming coffee table book (Volume 2, Robotus Infinitus) the Before times, I am about to finish Robotus Infinitus. It has come together so much better than planned, and is a direct tie in to the novel I am currently working on, Endless Skies. There are wallpaper images (large ones) for Endless Skies that show some of the characters in their habitats, bots that they are. Endless Skies also has a connection to Gods Eye, as they both are placed at the Great Attractor, the infinite end of everything. At least in this part of the observable universe. I think there is so much more than that. Septillions of times more, for space is endless and expanding semi-uniformly at 40% the speed of light.
I feel the old pull of my first book love, the Mongruxx again. So I may reshuffle the order of the next five or so books awaiting the master’s hand. This will be book number five for the Mongruxx. There is so much story to tell; it will take a good while to get it all down on paper (or Ones and Zeros as it may be).
